2. Accessibility check

This statement was prepared on June 27, 2025 and is based on:
  • internal audit by SUSHI BIKES
  • external review by partner developers
  • automated tests with the WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool
  • manual review with keyboard-only navigation and the screen reader VoiceOver
No critical barriers are displayed in the tested areas.

3. Measures to support accessibility

We implement the following measures to ensure the accessibility of our website:

  • WCAG 2.2 Level AA Conformance: We strive to meet the WCAG 2.2 Level AA success criteria in the design and development of our web shop.
  • Integrating accessibility into the design process: Accessibility is taken into account from the outset.
  • Manual and automated tests: We conduct regular manual and automated tests to ensure accessibility. This includes testing with accessibility tools such as screen readers or browser extensions.

4. Status of accessibility

Our website largely meets the requirements of WCAG 2.1 at Level AA . The audit was conducted in June 2025 together with an external developer.

Website accessibility is an ongoing process . New content and features are continually reviewed and optimized according to the WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines .

Areas that may currently still be partially accessible :
  • PDF files: Not all are fully accessible.
  • Video content: Some videos are missing subtitles or audio descriptions. New videos will be published with subtitles or added as soon as possible.
  • Forms and third-party tools (e.g. chatbots) cannot be fully controlled technically.
  • Text in images and graphic elements with low contrast – we strive to ensure sufficient contrast and provide alternative text.
  • Some elements are currently not fully controllable with the keyboard. We're working on making these areas more accessible as well.
