Can I make changes to my order?

Product and color changes:
Unfortunately, orders can no longer be adjusted. If you have changed your mind about the color of your SUSHI BIKE, your order must first be canceled and then placed again via our online shop. The same applies if you want to add another product to your order.

Change of delivery address:
If you would like to change the delivery address of your order, please feel free to contact our customer support. Please use our contact form to do so. An address change is possible up until the time of delivery. Once you have received the shipping information, an address change is usually no longer possible.

Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order up until the time of delivery. Please contact our customer support for this. We need your order number for the cancellation. Please use our contact form to contact us. If the delivery process has already progressed too far, cancellation is no longer possible.

Who covers the costs in the event of a guarantee or warranty claim?

If our customer support has sent you to a workshop and your SUSHI BIKE is still within the guarantee and warranty period, the costs for repairs and spare parts will be reimbursed. Provided that the repair has been agreed and approved with us. If you had the repair carried out at an independent workshop, please submit the invoice to us afterwards so that we can refund the invoice amount. If you have the repair carried out by a service partner, the billing is done directly between the service workshop and SUSHI BIKES. The corresponding spare parts are usually obtained through us. Please note that according to our terms and conditions, we cannot reimburse repairs that have not been agreed upon.

What are your return policies?

30-day return policy:
Based on our satisfaction guarantee, you as a consumer have the right to return your order to us within 30 days of receipt or delivery.

Return shipping costs:
According to our terms and conditions, the buyer bears the costs for return shipping. For a service fee of €50, our customer service will be happy to organize the collection and return of your bike. Please send us a request to hello@sushi-bikes.com

Original packaging:
The return shipment must be made in the original packaging of the products, including all accessories and all packaging components. If you no longer have the original packaging, the return shipment must be made in protective outer packaging. We reserve the right to deduct €50 from the refund amount for the replacement of the packaging.

Wear:
If, upon receipt of your return, we find that the items are excessively worn, damaged or in an unacceptable condition, we reserve the right to make a deduction from the refund amount.

It can take up to 14 days for your return to be recorded in our systems and the refund processed. You will receive a notification as soon as the refund has been processed. The refund will be made to the payment method you originally used. The amount is usually credited to your account within 10 days. If you have not received your refund within 30 days, please contact us at the following email address: rueckerstattung@sushi-bikes.com. Be sure to include proof of shipment and bank details for the refund in your message.

Questions about SUSHI BIKE

How do I find the right frame size?

In order to find the right frame height, it is important to know that it does not only depend on your height. The step height plays a more important role. The reason for this is that you do not injure yourself by hitting the top tube if you suddenly dismount. Therefore, the frame height of your SUSHI BIKE should be selected so that there is still some space between the frame and your step.

If you are interested in our Maki+ / 3.0 models, you can compare your step height with the dimensions of our bikes:

  • Maki S (50cm): 76cm step height
  • Maki M (55cm): 79cm inseam
  • Maki L (60cm): 83cm step height

However, if you prefer our California Roll+ / 3.0, your step height is not so important. With this model we have a low entry. This bike can be ridden by people between 155 cm and 180 cm tall.

To find the right bike, you can of course arrange a test ride with one of our service partners.

Does the SUSHI BIKE 3.0 have gears?

No. All of our SUSHI BIKES are single-speed bikes with electronic support. Because all of our bikes are designed for the city, we deliberately do not use gears. However, you do not have to do without different levels of support. The built-in LCD display gives you the option of choosing between 5 levels or forgoing electrical support altogether. With all of our SUSHI BIKES, you can easily manage a gradient of up to 10%.

How much range does the battery of the SUSHI BIKES 3.0 have?

The battery and drive have not changed compared to the + models. You can travel up to 75 km in city traffic with the SUSHI BIKE 3.0. Of course, the range can be reduced accordingly if you have luggage or another passenger on board. The energy comes from a removable battery (24V, 9.6Ah). You can easily charge this at any socket. At 1.3 kg, it is also a real lightweight in its class.

What is the maximum permissible total weight with which the SUSHI BIKE 3.0 can be operated?

The SUSHI BIKE 3.0 is tested and certified with a system weight of up to 120 kg. The system weight includes the bike including rider and luggage. Anything above this has not been tested or certified by us. Use with a higher weight is therefore at your own risk.

Is the SUSHI BIKE 3.0 also available as B-stock?

For our B-stock shop we use SUSHI BIKES that are returned due to (minor) visual damage and can therefore no longer be sold as new. Currently, you will mainly find B-stock bikes from the 1st generation and the + models in our online shop. In the future, however, the 3.0 model will also be available as B-stock. We cannot currently give an exact date.

Where can I find the bike ID of my SUSHI BIKE 3.0?

The bike ID of your SUSHI BIKE 3.0 appears when you scan the QR code located on the frame.
