Details about SUSHI CARE

What is the minimum term of my contract?

The minimum term for annual payments is one year. For monthly payments, it is only three months.

What is the maximum duration of my contract?

Don't worry, your contract ends automatically after 5 years. No cancellation necessary!

How high is the contribution margin?

The insured sum covers the purchase price of your e-bike, including accessories and lock, up to a maximum of €5,000.

How long after purchasing my SUSHI BIKE can I still purchase SUSHI Care?

  • SUSHI Care Theft Protection Plus: Up to 39 months after purchase
  • SUSHI Care Comfort Protection: Up to 12 months after purchase
  • SUSHI Care Premium Protection: Up to 12 months after purchase

What are the conditions for locks at SUSHI Care?

Your e-bike must be secured to a fixed object with an appropriate lock. A lock is appropriate if it cost at least €45. Frame locks are only acceptable with an additional plug-in chain. Existing locks can be used as long as they are fully functional and are no older than 3 years when the insurance is taken out (proof of purchase required).

When will the amounts be debited?

The amounts will be debited on the day of purchase.

What is included in the mobility protection letter?

Roland mobility protection offers you:

  • 24-hour service for breakdowns and accidents
  • Breakdown assistance up to 50 €
  • Towing to the nearest workshop or residence up to 150 €
  • Recovery after an accident up to €2,000
  • Onward and return journey up to 500 €
  • Replacement bike up to 50 € per day for a maximum of 7 days
  • Accommodation costs up to 80 € per night for a maximum of 5 nights
  • Bicycle return transport if repair is not possible on site
  • Emergency cash up to €1,500 in case of financial emergency abroad

Can I also use SUSHI Care for refurbished bikes?

Yes, as long as they have not been in use for longer than 24 months and were purchased from our shop. SUSHI Care does not apply to used bikes from private individuals.

What is the cancellation period for my SUSHI Care subscription?

You can cancel your insurance contract at the end of each month.

What do I need to consider?

Keep the purchase receipt for your e-bike, accessories and locks for the duration of the insurance contract.

How do we guarantee you trustworthy protection?

We offer the insurance together with Alteos. Alteos is a 100% subsidiary of AXA Konzern AG. This means you benefit from having a strong partner at your side!
