Behind the scenes:

Our goal

Reducing Waste

Most SUSHI BIKES are returned after only a few days of use due to cosmetic defects. Minimal cosmetic defects such as paint damage or small scratches are enough for a bike to no longer be sold at the regular price. This also applies to SUSHI BIKE models that are returned to us. These are often minor transport damage or signs of use, such as signs of wear on the tires from test drives.

Quality at a good price

Refurbishment

All of our returned e-bikes go through a complex testing process. Technical defects are excluded. The remaining defects on the B-stock bikes offered are purely visual and naturally differ from bike to bike in terms of the location and number of defects.

Circular economy

RE:CYCLE

After a thorough inspection of the bike and the technology, the returned bikes are classified by our bike experts into the respective B-goods category, depending on their condition:

A - Best: Not ridden, assembled at most once, minor visual defects on the frame or fork.

B - Better: Already driven, some visual defects.

C - Good: Already driven several times, major visual defects.

B-WARE BIKES - THE SECOND CHANCE FOR MORE SUSTAINABILITY

What does B-goods mean?

B-stock or second-hand goods are products that cannot be sold regularly and are therefore offered at special conditions. These include, for example, e-bikes with signs of wear and tear that arose during test drives or returned bikes that were complained about within the scope of our 30-day right of return. We at SUSHI BIKES want to give these bikes, which were returned due to purely cosmetic defects, a second chance. After all, for many of us, bikes are everyday objects and small scratches are part of the whole. The B-stock from SUSHI BIKES therefore only consists of refurbished, technically flawless e-bikes that are 100 percent roadworthy and have been thoroughly checked by our experts before shipping (motor, battery and brakes).

How does a SUSHI BIKE become B-stock and what do the classifications mean?

Minimal visual defects such as paint damage or minor scratches are enough for a bike to no longer be sold at the regular price. This also applies to models that are returned to us. Here it is often minor transport damage or signs of use, such as signs of wear on the tires from test drives. All of our B-stock e-bikes go through a complex testing process. First, the technology (including motor, controller, electronics, brakes and battery) is checked. Then any rust spots are repaired. The remaining defects of the B-stock bikes on offer are purely visual and naturally differ from bike to bike in terms of the location and number of defects. In order to assess the severity of the defects, we put a lot of effort into classifying the B-stock bikes and thank you for the trust you have placed in us in this regard. Our B-stock bikes are available in the following categories: A - Best: Not ridden, assembled once at most, minor visual defects on the frame or fork. B - Better: Already driven, occasional visual defects. C - Good: Already driven several times, major visual defects.

What models are there and how much does a B-stock e-bike cost?

In principle, all of our models, from the first generation through the + models to the new SUSHI BIKES 3.0, are also available as B-stock. Availability depends on incoming returns. Due to the visual defects, we are offering our B-stock bikes at reduced conditions. In concrete terms, this means: E-bikes from the Good category cost 150 euros less than an A-stock bike. With a B-stock bike from the Better category, you can save 100 euros. E-bikes in the Best category are reduced by 50 euros. This is your chance to get a real bargain. In our B-stock section you will find e-bikes with minor cosmetic defects that would be a lot more expensive as A-stock. The range of B-stock is constantly updated. It is therefore worth checking the B-stock shop regularly.

Can I take a look at the B-Ware e-bike beforehand and is there a guarantee?

Due to the organizational effort, it is unfortunately not possible for us to show you the B-stock e-bikes in person at our headquarters. However, our B-stock classifications give you specific information about which visual defects you can expect. We believe in the quality of our bikes. In plain language, this means: Even if there is no legal guarantee for B-stock, we think it is only fair that the same guarantee conditions apply to your B-stock SUSHI BIKE as for a new purchase. This means: 24 months warranty from delivery, voluntary guarantee extension from 12 to 24 months. In the first 12 months of the guarantee, the costs of a workshop visit are covered. So if something is wrong with your e-bike, you can be sure that you will receive help quickly.

Can I also pay for a B-stock e-bike in installments?

You can pay for our B-stock bikes in installments, just like our new bikes. Our service provider Alma offers you 0 percent financing over four months. You can even finance your purchase over an even longer period via PayPal.

How long is the delivery time for a B-stock e-bike?

By purchasing a B-stock bike, you not only make a contribution to our sustainability strategy, but also benefit from a delivery time of just 14 days. The following procedure applies: After the e-bikes have been checked at our headquarters, they will be delivered directly to you from there after purchase. Alternatively, you can have your bike delivered to one of our partner workshops. To do this, select the “Setup and collection from our service partner” option during the ordering process. Your bike will then be assembled for you and you can simply take it with you. A flat rate is charged for this service, which you pay directly to the service partner on site.
